Pick the apps that eat your evenings. Bernie puts up the velvet rope using Apple's Screen Time technology, pointed at your own worst habits.

Get stopped at the door

Open a listed app and you meet the shield instead of the feed. No feed, no autoplay, no "just checking". The door is shut until you have a word with the doorman.

Talk your way in

Make your case in chat. A good reason earns a timed pass, a weak one gets you a cooldown. When the minutes run out, the rope goes back up on its own.

    Talk your way in and you get minutes, not the whole night. When time is up, the door shuts itself. Natively.
